Chevron Kids Marathon

Is there an age limit?  The Chevron Kids Marathon is for children 12 years old and under.  Kids 12+ should register for the 5K.  (Both distances are friendly to walking, and race staff attends a "half-mile" turnaround to let the little kids get back to the finish line quicker if they like.)

Can parents run with their children?  Yes, but we encourage you to let them run on their own. The course is closely monitored and secured by race officials and local police.  Parents running the 5K race need to be registered runners and have their own bib.

Finish Line & Kid Checkout:  Only race personnel and kids participating in the race will be allowed in the finish chute and checkout areas. Once you see your child in the finish chute, you can show your PARENT bib to the attendant to claim your child. If you have multiple kids participating, you will need to show your PARENT bib for each child in order for them to be released. If a parent runs with their child, please WEAR the PARENT bib. 

If you do not have the PARENT bib that matches the CHILD bib, the attendant will verify the information on the back with your photo ID. If you don't have a photo ID, you will be directed to one of our police partners to claim your child.
