The Double Down Challenge rewards runners who take on both days of Keesler Federal Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon Weekend. Complete a Saturday event and a Sunday event, and you'll earn an exclusive challenge medal to commemorate your accomplishment.

Two Destinations. Two Race Weekends. One Epic Challenge.
From the white sand beaches of the Mississippi Gulf Coast to the streets of Louisiana's Capital City, this challenge celebrates two incredible race experiences.
Run any distance (excluding Kids events) at both the Keesler Federal Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon and the Louisiana Marathon, and you'll earn the exclusive Beau Rivage Resort & Casino Beach to Bayou Challenge Medal.
How It Works
🌊 Complete any distance at the Keesler Federal Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon

🏅 Earn the Beau Rivage Beach 2 Bayou Challenge Medal
Mix and match distances however you'd like—a 5K at one event and a marathon at the other, two half marathons, or anything in between. Finish both race weekends and you'll add a third medal to your collection.

Challenge Medal Pickup
Double Down medals are awarded Sunday at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon Awards Tent after completing the requirements of the challenge.
Beau Rivage Beach 2 Bayou Challenge medals are awarded at the Louisiana Marathon Awards Tent after completing the requirements of the challenge.
Please note: Challenge medals must be picked up on race weekend and will not be shipped after the event.
